Reclaiming Reds are recruiting a Community Ranger to join our team.
This role, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, is designed to connect the local community to our natural heritage as part of a wider conservation project aiming to start the process of Red Squirrels (Sciurus vulgaris) returning to the Knowsley Estate and the surrounding areas. The post holder will raise awareness to the importance of red squirrel conservation and coordinate the volunteer programme, giving the community an opportunity to reconnect with their natural heritage. Please note this role is funded to September 2022, with a view to extending the position depending on funding.
